Donations

Please support our non-profit 501(c)3 mission of educating musicians and enriching the culture of the Pacific NW region by donating to Songwriters in Seattle. SiS is an all volunteer organization, so money does not go to individuals, but rather benefits all who participate. Your generous donations are used for:

• Educational events (venues, guest speakers, equipment rental, etc.)
• Promotions for those events and the group as a whole (flyers, biz cards, banners, stickers, etc.)
• Working capital for commercial projects to help raise additional funds (SiS logo/branded merchandise - i.e. shirts, hats, mugs, etc.)
• Music industry professional education and conferences
• Research and event coordination staff
• Administrative and business maintenance costs

Gifts to Songwriters in Seattle are tax deductible as a charitable donation to a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations over $10 are eligible to receive a letter acknowledging your tax deductible gift with our EIN number included – please send your mailing address to donations@songwritersinseattle.com.

Songwriters in Seattle is considered a qualifying charity in the IRS Publication 78 Cumulative List of Organizations eligible to receive tax deductible charitable contributions, see: IRS Exempt Organizations Select Check Tool.
